GIMS Greater Noida- Awarded for Excellence in Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

Government Institute of medical sciences was awarded the appreciation award for excellence in Ayushmann Bharat Digital Mission. The award was given by Smt Ritu Maheshwari, IAS Secretary, Medical health and family welfare, Government of UP and MD, ABDM during review meeting of Meerut and Saharanpur division on 22nd March 2 026 held at Radisson Hotel Ghaziabad

Ayushmann Bharat Digital Mission started in year 2021 by Govt of India, with view to digitalize all Health records of Citizen, including ABHA registration of Individuals, Health professional registration (Doctors and Nurses), Registration of health facilities, registration and implementation of Hosp management Information (HMIS) system in the hospitals All the government and all private hospitals need to register with ABDM so that patients record follow up, Continuation of care can be done.

This is a big advantage to the Individuals. If one registers in ABHA App and Hosp upload all the medical documents and Lab reports. Individual patient doesn’t have to carry his physical records, and after his permission, the hospital can download and review all his personal records. This will help in maximum patience for better treatment and outcome

GIMS has done more than 10,00,000 registrations in ABHA more than 50,000 medical record linkages and more than 80% of healthcare professionals are registered with ABDM, Which was highly appreciated. Brig Rakesh Gupta also presented his views and he has motivated patients and staff for this great contribution.

Advantage of ABDM and ABHA registration is that patient doesn’t have to stand in Queue for registration or lab test, Get his all reports online on their mobile phone and Patient does not have to carry the big physical files to the Hospital. The doctor can also access all records immediately. Artificial intelligence also helping doctors and hospital in retrieving and analysing these data.
